We would postpone a purchase until Freelancers.xxx explains who holds funds, resolves disputes, and returns money after cancellation. Its professional-service categories are relevant to creator businesses, but relevance does not establish buyer protection or freelancer quality. A written project scope is useful only when the payment process is also understood.

- The terms say buyers and sellers arrange payment and delivery and disclaim involvement in their disputes. That requires clarification alongside the advertised approval-and-release workflow; neither statement proves independently supervised escrow. [3] [1]
- The January 2020 privacy notice gives purpose-based retention language without a detailed processor list or deletion timetable. The FAQ’s account-deletion claim was not tested. Sensitive briefs need more specific handling assurances. [4] [2]

A buyer should add the stated service fee to the agreed job price; the seller commission is a separate deduction from earnings. A low-priced task may be materially affected by the US$2 minimum. Confirm taxes, currency conversion, and any withdrawal fee. [2]
