Show the evidence.
Explain the tradeoffs.
ATN reviews help creators and businesses decide whether a tool fits their work and budget. Readers should be able to see how we reached a verdict.
Know what was actually reviewed
Research review: an editorial assessment of published information. We link the official sources, date the check, and explain what remains untested. The current collection uses this approach.
Hands-on review: reserved for work backed by an actual test record, including the plan, device or environment, tasks, date, and limitations. None of the current reviews claims this status.
Facts and opinion have different jobs
Feature, price, and policy claims need sources. “Our take,” audience fit, and budget advice are editorial judgments based on those facts. A company’s claim is not proof of quality, safety, or performance.
No invented scores
These reviews carry no numeric scores or star ratings. We will only introduce ratings with a published method and evidence appropriate to the category. A directory entry does not count as a completed review.
Costs should be useful
We distinguish free plans from trials, monthly equivalents from annual charges, and domain fees from hosting. When a paid option appears, we explain the free starting option and when buying can wait. Prices remain dated snapshots.
Money does not set the verdict
The current reviews use direct links with no affiliate tracking. Future affiliate links and sponsored placements must be disclosed where they appear. Sponsorship must remain separate from editorial rankings; commission alone is not a reason to recommend a service.
Scope and corrections
Reviews state their limits. Reading a policy does not certify a service as safe or establish permission for every adult-industry use. If a source changes, the affected claims and check date need updating. A future contact channel will provide a way to submit corrections.
