TimeCamp review.

A free place to track projects, with paid limits worth reading carefully.

Based on official documentation. Hands-on testing: not performed. Numeric rating: not assigned.

EDITORIAL ASSESSMENT

Our take

TimeCamp is a sensible candidate for a creator who wants to see how much time goes into each project before committing to a paid tracker. The free option can establish the habit. A paid plan becomes more relevant when the project structure or reporting requirements grow beyond that starting setup.

A good fit for

Solo creators or small teams separating production, editing, and administration into trackable projects.

Think twice if

You need nested tasks on the free plan, or do not want desktop activity details collected alongside time records.

Strengths & limitations

What stands out

  • The help documentation allows unlimited top-level projects on Free. This gives separate projects room to grow without immediately needing nested task structures. [2]
  • Computer-activity settings include private-time and visibility controls, allowing the account’s reporting scope to be configured. [3]

What to weigh up

  • Free excludes tasks and subtasks. Starter adds one task level; Premium and Ultimate support deeper structures. Plan against the structure you actually need. [2]
  • The Computer Activities feature can record visited websites and apps. Its privacy controls depend on configuration; they are not a blanket promise that all activity is private. [3]

What it costs

TimeCamp lists an ongoing Free plan at $0. Starter is displayed at $5.49 per user month-to-month, or $3.99 per user per month billed annually. The annual equivalent is not a monthly payment schedule. [1]

The same page lists Premium and Ultimate above Starter, with different allowances. Dollar amounts are a snapshot of the retrieved page; confirm checkout currency, taxes, seat count, and renewal terms before subscribing. [1]

Where it fits in your work

ATN would begin with a few meaningful project names and a routine for reviewing entries. Use the resulting totals to improve planning, while keeping sensitive client or account information out of project names and unnecessary activity records.

What this review does not establish

We have not installed the desktop tracker, measured automatic classification accuracy, tested mobile synchronization, reviewed invoices, or audited privacy controls. A computer-activity total is not automatically an accurate billable-time record.

Product claims and published prices can change. The check date records when we read the sources; it is not a safety certification.

Affiliate & referral status

TimeCamp advertises an affiliate partnership with 20% recurring commission on qualifying referrals. Complete payout conditions and ATN’s adult-industry publisher eligibility were not established in this review. No approval or earnings are claimed, and all links are direct with no affiliate tracking. [4]
