Based on official documentation. Hands-on testing: not performed. Numeric rating: not assigned.

EDITORIAL ASSESSMENT

Our take

Takedown Piracy is a service to investigate when fingerprint-based discovery matters, but we would resolve the creator-route contract and sample rules before uploading material. ClipSentry is an identified delivery route for the provider, not an unrelated competitor. Evaluate actual coverage, reporting, and privacy against the works you want protected.

A good fit for

Adult rights holders comparing monitoring and fingerprinting with a clearly defined authorized catalogue.

Think twice if

You assume every detected match is infringing, expect a technology provider to act as your lawyer, or cannot clarify sample handling.

Strengths & limitations

What stands out

  • The service page distinguishes fingerprinting, search cleanup, and action across multiple hosting channels. ClipSentry describes specialist review of matches before a notice is issued. These are workflow claims, not an ATN test of accuracy or outcomes. [1] [2]

What to weigh up

  • ClipSentry’s terms restrict indecent material and commercial use, despite its creator-business marketing. Ask which agreement and permitted-sample process governs a new customer. A broad marketing description is insufficient permission to upload sensitive material. [3]
  • Its privacy policy says raw videos are deleted after processing but lists sample frames, images, and authorization data among collected records. That distinction leaves fingerprint, frame, and notice-record retention to clarify. [4]

What it costs

The $150 listing covers the individual-creator subscription, including monitoring and unlimited takedown requests. Requests are not guaranteed removals. Confirm currency, tax, catalogue limits, and any agency or studio quote separately. [2]

The posted terms renew automatically unless cancelled before the next term. They exclude partial-period refunds and make exceptional refunds discretionary. The terms date to February 2021; confirm their applicability to a current order. [3]

Where it fits in your work

The provider explicitly distinguishes its technology service from legal practice. For a disputed ownership claim or litigation decision, its evidence collection and attorney-referral relationships do not substitute for a separately engaged qualified adviser.

What this review does not establish

No samples, fingerprints, account, notice, payment, or removal were tested. Current contract applicability, permitted samples, notice identity fields, retention, coverage, and independent outcomes remain unresolved. No company success totals or testimonials are adopted as findings.

Product claims and published prices can change. The check date records when we read the sources; it is not a safety certification.

Affiliate & referral status

The checked Takedown Piracy and ClipSentry pages and targeted official-domain search did not establish a publisher affiliate agreement. Agency quotations and attorney relationships are different arrangements. Signup, commission, attribution, payout, and ATN eligibility remain unverified; no application or personal tracking URL exists.
