Streamster review.
A low-cost way to evaluate cloud multistreaming before adding channels.
Based on official documentation. Hands-on testing: not performed. Numeric rating: not assigned.
Our take
Streamster is a plausible starting point for a permitted live show that needs more than one destination. Its free tier gives a concrete way to test the setup. We would evaluate the receiving platforms, connection, and device together before paying for extra capacity or relying on it for a scheduled event.
A good fit for
Creators planning permitted streams to a small number of destinations and willing to run a full rehearsal.
Think twice if
You need high-bitrate output on the free tier, assume every device has identical features, or require confirmed permission for explicit broadcasts.
Strengths & limitations
What stands out
What to weigh up
- Higher channel counts, bitrate limits, VPN, and transcoding depend on the plan. The listed VPN feature is desktop-only. [2]
- The terms include broad restrictions on indecent or otherwise inappropriate content and require rights to broadcasts. ATN has not confirmed explicit-content eligibility; destination-platform rules also need checking. [3]
What it costs
Free lists two channels at up to 4,000 Kbps each. Lite lists four at 7,000 Kbps for $15/month or $0.48/hour; Regular lists six at 10,000 Kbps for $30/month or $0.96/hour. Confirm checkout currency and taxes. [2]
The pricing page offers the ongoing free plan for evaluation rather than a separate free trial. Check paid session billing and required features before topping up. [2]
Where it fits in your work
Use a non-sensitive rehearsal to check audio, framing, destination settings, and recovery when a connection drops. A successful local preview alone does not establish what each audience receives.
What this review does not establish
We have not tested broadcast reliability, latency, recording, VPN behavior, transcoding quality, or compatibility with individual streaming platforms.
Product claims and published prices can change. The check date records when we read the sources; it is not a safety certification.
Affiliate & referral status
September 30 follow-up: the previously unavailable official overview and Paykickstart guide are now readable. Streamster documents an account referral route ($10 after a paid subscription plus 10% of purchases) and a separate Paykickstart route advertising 20% lifetime. The latter guide lists monthly payouts after $20, by wire, PayPal, or cryptocurrency. These are separate published routes, not one combined rate. Applicable contract, attribution window, and ATN eligibility remain unverified. No enrollment or tracking link exists. [4] [5] [6]
