Linktree review.
A simple link hub, with a firm boundary around monetization.
Based on official documentation. Hands-on testing: not performed. Numeric rating: not assigned.
Our take
A reasonable starting point when your immediate need is one page of links. For an adult creator, the decision should turn on the content and payment restrictions before extra design features. Start free, keep your destination list backed up, and only pay for a feature you know you can use.
A good fit for
Creators who want a small navigation page and can work within its display and linking rules.
Think twice if
Anyone expecting to sell adult material or collect adult-content payments through Linktree itself.
Strengths & limitations
What stands out
What to weigh up
- Adult-content links must be legal in your region, marked sensitive, and must not advertise full-service sex work. Adult images, videos, and embedded adult feeds are prohibited on the page. [2]
- Linktree prohibits distributing adult content through its commerce features or collecting payments and donations for it. Its Earn guidance also excludes profiles containing or linking to specified adult material from Partner Earnings. [2] [3]
What it costs
Linktree offers a continuing free plan and three paid tiers. The official pricing page did not expose a readable subscription amount during this check, so no paid monthly or annual price is quoted. Check the currency, full billing period, and renewal total before subscribing. [1]
The pricing page flags separate transaction and processing charges for monetization features. A subscription price is not a complete selling-cost estimate, and paying does not remove content restrictions. [1] [2]
Where it fits in your work
Treat the page as a directory to your own work. Keep a separate record of the links, use clear destination names, and periodically check that they still lead where you intend. Our assessment is about organizing navigation, not a guarantee that every destination or business model will be accepted.
What this review does not establish
We have not created a page, submitted adult-related links for moderation, tested analytics, or completed a checkout. No account approval, conversion improvement, or moderation outcome is claimed.
Product claims and published prices can change. The check date records when we read the sources; it is not a safety certification.
Affiliate & referral status
The September 18, 2026 referral terms describe an invitation-only US pilot for approved adults with a paid plan: 20% of qualifying revenue during a 12-month commission period, with 30-day attribution. Referral commissions count as Partner Earnings, which have adult-content restrictions. ATN’s eligibility and any payout minimum remain unverified. This review contains no tracked referral link.
