Our take
CB Cam Insights provides useful documentation about its collection methods, but we would not connect sensitive data until privacy and deletion terms can be read. The immediate question is what data would be exposed through each access method. A richer analytics view is only valuable if the creator understands and accepts that access.

What stands out
- The documentation distinguishes default network-site access from an extension alternative. The latter avoids enabling that network setting but lacks some long-term ranking and follower-growth charts. That makes the tradeoff visible before setup. [4]
What to weigh up
- Configuration documentation says anyone can initially enter a performer name; ownership verification protects the claimed room. It also warns that the extension key can read tipper history and upload data. Treat these as material account-access choices, not routine cosmetic settings. [3]
- The signup guide describes a limited backfill of trend data. It does not establish that a new subscriber receives a complete archive of every previous broadcast. [2]
What it costs
Basic is described as free for long-term trends and achievements. Numeric Pro and Studio prices were not confirmed. A previously used email trial does not qualify again: the guide says a later subscription is charged immediately. [2]
Manage Billing is the documented route to change or cancel a subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the trial or already paid period; the guide says an early trial cancellation retains its remaining access. [3]
Where it fits in your work
Keep access tokens private and review who controls the account. Do not assume a browser extension avoids all data processing simply because it avoids a network-site setting. Limit any future evaluation to data the creator is authorized to process.
