CREATE PAYMENTS
Bitwage.
Payroll and contractor-payment tools with fiat, cryptocurrency and stablecoin distribution options. Personal plan charges, worker location and employer participation affect the available route; adult-business acceptance remains unverified. [1] [2] [4]
Choose the payroll relationship
Employer payroll and individual receipts differ
Bitwage describes services for businesses paying workers and individuals receiving earnings. A distribution can combine supported fiat and digital-asset destinations. Our editorial starting point is to identify who sends the money, which entity contracts with you and where it must arrive; those questions determine which fee schedule and onboarding requirements matter. Cryptocurrency availability alone says little about the cost or availability of a local bank withdrawal. [1]
Read the personal plan by payment method
Monthly fees do not cover every transfer
The personal page displays Standard at $0 monthly and Premium at $15.99. Standard lists a $20 incoming-wire charge, 2% stablecoin fee, 1% local-currency fee and $15 Ethereum-based stablecoin deposit charge. Premium removes specified flat fees and the local-currency charge, with an exception for USD paid to non-US recipients. The wording does not establish that every percentage-based fee disappears. The extracted dollar prices do not separately identify checkout currency. [2]
Processing descriptions are not bank-arrival promises
Standard advertises next-day processing and one crypto plus one local distribution; Premium advertises same-day processing and three distributions. Bank holidays, verification, the chosen asset and the receiving institution can affect actual availability. Compare the total account-specific quote before selecting a plan. [2] [3]
Location can require employer involvement
Four US states have a worker-account condition
The official help page says workers in New York, Alaska, Louisiana and Florida cannot use Worker accounts unless their employer signs up. Its separate statement about companies paying workers across the US does not remove that individual-account condition. International eligibility and the applicable regional contract still require confirmation. [4]
A material documentation gap
Verification is documented; retention is not established here
The terms describe identity and business verification. Both retrieved privacy-policy variants exposed a heading and navigation without substantive policy text. Consequently this profile does not claim a verified retention period, deletion process or complete data-sharing assessment. Obtain the applicable notice before providing identity or payroll records. Affiliate overview and open terms
Revenue share is not a share of the worker’s payment
The official affiliate page advertises up to 25% of Bitwage revenue from qualifying referred activity and requires application approval. It does not substantiate a universal rate, attribution period, minimum payout or guaranteed payment duration. Its program page is an informational URL, not ATN’s tracking link. No application was submitted. [7]
