Amazon Pay.

Amazon’s checkout service for approved merchants, retained under the imported Amazon Payments record. Its July 2026 acceptable-use policy prohibits adult entertainment, so this is a restrictions profile rather than an adult-payment recommendation. [1] [2]

Checkout and regional eligibility

A merchant account has its own requirements

Amazon Pay lets shoppers use their Amazon account at participating merchants. The reviewed US registration guidance requires an authorized business with a US address, bank account, phone number and associated payment information. Non-US applicants need their regional rules. This review did not open a merchant account, authenticate an integration or test whether a particular store would be approved. [1] [3]

The US schedule is not a worldwide quote

Separate processing, authorization and disputes

The US fee page lists 2.9% plus US$0.30 for domestic web/mobile transactions and 3.9% plus US$0.30 for cross-border payments, with applicable tax additional. Successful uncaptured authorizations may still incur the authorization fee when closed or expired. Disputing an uncovered chargeback carries a listed US$20 fee plus applicable tax. Confirm the actual integration and regional schedule before comparing costs. [4]

Captured payments may not be immediately available

Read the reserve decision with the fee schedule

Amazon’s current reserve policy distinguishes rolling and minimum reserves, as well as account, performance and dispute-based classifications. The amount can depend on business activity and processing history. These funds should not be treated as spendable cash merely because the customer paid. This page supplies no universal reserve percentage, release date or bank-arrival promise. [5]

Privacy notice scope

A linked policy remains an unresolved reading gap

The Amazon Payments privacy page, dated January 2020, incorporates the broader Amazon Privacy Notice. That linked notice failed retrieval in this check. Consequently this profile does not claim a complete current data-retention or deletion assessment. Review the notice applicable to your account before supplying business and customer information. [6]

Integration partnerships are a separate program

No invented affiliate commission

The official Global Partner Program describes certification support, partner managers and joint marketing for merchant-facing partners. The reviewed page does not establish a public cash commission rate, attribution window or payout minimum. It should not be confused with Amazon Associates retail links. No application, contact request or tracking link was created. [7]
